Melissa Toomim Stands Unequivocally with Israel

I became politically active because the incumbent in District 36, Ted Lieu, has demonstrated his support for HAMAS time and time again throughout his political career. That man does not represent me.

I will always vote to support Israel in her fight against Jew hating Islamists. The incumbent gives lip service to supporting Israel, but his actions speak louder. I will always stand unequivocally with Israel. In 2019, in response to multiple antisemitic Tweets by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, Jewish Members of the House of Representatives attempted to pass a resolution condemning antisemitism. Ted Lieu chose to help convert the resolution condemning antisemitism into a resolution condemning Islamophobia, as well.
